Santika Hotel Yogyakarta planting trees to Welcome World Environment Day

Hotel Santika Premiere Yogyakarta held a corporate social responsibility program welcomes to World Environment Day on Saturday (06/05/2010). Dozens of Yogyakarta residents and Santika Yogyakarta hotel staffs work planting 22 mahogany trees and rambutan, and also the installation of flood detection devices at the edge of Kali Code, RT Gondolayu Lor 57, Yogyakarta.

General Manager of Hotel Santika Yogyakarta Mr Handono S Putro said the village was chosen as the location because it is close to the hotel and its environment must be considered. With tree planting, erosion potential is expected to be reduced and increased shade.
